Mann’s Records Management Services is a file consultant company dedicated to tailoring a records management plan that works the way you need it to work. There’s no “cookie cutter” method to managing records, because every client is unique. We listen, we develop, we implement. A new idea, every time, for every client.
MRM Services can help you:
- If you are afraid to file things because you know you’ll never see them again
- If there are items in your files that you can’t locate, even though you're certain they are in there somewhere
- When you wish you had a better filing system but don’t have time to set one up
- Or even if there’s no system in your filing system
- When your files are bulging with papers you could probably discard
- If you seem to find things after it’s too late to matter anymore
- If you wish someone could just come into your business and organize it for you
There are many different methods for filing, and yours should fit your business needs and your personal workstyle. MRM Services will examine your records and documents, then develop and implement a system tailored to your individual needs.
Even if your company has its own records management department, you may need extra help for large projects. MRM Services can work hand-in-hand with your records management staff.
MRM Services is an excellent choice when you need extra staff but can’t justify another hire. If a sluggish economy has left you shorthanded, MRM Services can fill the gap.
MRM Services focuses not only on your filing system, but also space management. Properly designed shelving maximizes space utilization, and a functional office layout that is tailored to your individual needs is guaranteed to increase your efficiency.
Founder and owner Kathy Mann is approved by the Institute of Certified Records Managers as a candidate for the title of Certified Records Manager. A CRM designation is the profession’s most recognized and respected credential, and demonstrates a solid mastery of a critical body of knowledge. No other credential lends itself more directly to today’s complex and changing information environment. At this writing Kathy has successfully completed four of the six exams that comprise the certification process. After completion of exams #5 and #6, she will become only the fourth Certified Records Manager in the state of Alabama. See icrm.org
Kathy is a member of ARMA, the national association for professional records managers. For the last two years, she has been a board member of the Birmingham chapter of ARMA, and is slated to be inducted as an officer in the fall of 2008. See bhamarma.org
